One of THE most amazing experiences of my life!

I can't believe that they allow tourists to swim in the underground cenotes, only millimetres from the stalactites that have taken thousands of years to evolve.

Courtesy of the Grand Velas Hotel, we enjoyed a private guided tour that initially involved ziplining and kayaking on immaculate lagoon in private estate, then swim in the crystal clear cenote waters, and tour of classic Mayan village.
Then onto this underground cavern of water-filled caves, full of stalagmites and stalactites.

I have visited a number of similar caves around the world, but we were never allowed to swim in the waters & get so close to the delicate stalactites.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
