One step forward to Spring...

...Two steps back to Winter!!

After yesterday's lovely blossom-filled walk, today's weather came as rather a shock!

This afternoon the skies got darker and darker, thunder rumbled in the distance and then the skies opened and we had the most torrential hail storm that I've ever experienced! The garden and rooftops were very quickly covered in a thick layer of large hailstones, it really did look as if it had snowed!! The temperature quickly dropped to 4°C so the icy blanket still remains.

As dedicated as I am to blipfoto, I wasn't going to brave that weather so I quickly opened the door, shoved my arm out and pressed the button. As a result, today you have yet another rather hasty blip!
