The picture I took a few days ago was of Llewelyn ap Gruffydd Fychan of Caeo he was a wealthy Carmarthenshire landowner who was executed in Llandovery 9th October 1401 by Henry IV in punishment for his support of Owain Glyndwr's welsh rebellion. This plaque is in the market square close to where he was disembowelled & dismembered for all to see. I must admit like many other I had no idea who he was until the statue was erected in 2001.
