We plough the fields...

but haven't scattered any good seed on the land yet !
Dry but chilly today. Went to feed the outside cows ,but wasn't fast enough for A42 who managed to give me a good dunt on the hip with her head. Last week,I would have shrugged it off,but now I'm old,it hurt!
Spent the morning sorting out heifers that were to go away tomorrow,but just had the haulier on the phone. Could he leave them till Friday ,as he is going to run out of driver hours tomorrow.
Clipped 5 Angus bullocks I'm selling on Thursday,then the contractor arrived in to plough the last 40 acres ready to seed. No sign of a seed drill turning up though.
Now waiting for an artic load of turnips to arrive. He has just phoned to say he is stuck in a jam on the city by pass. No surprise there then !
So seeing as it's Tractor Tuesday,here is a tractor!
