Welcome back!

After a morning of domestic tedium I decided to go to the seaside!

I haven't visited Bempton since the autumn so wasn't sure what I'd find. The building works are still in progress (other than a new car park area it wasn't very obvious to me what had been happening over the last few months!)

It was beautiful - the forecast rain didn't arrive and the gannets were wheeling around - guillemots and razorbills were all over the place - as were kittiwakes and fulmars ..  and ... PUFFINS!!

It's so early for them - I honestly hadn't expected them to be back yet!
