Daffodil close up...

...using manual setting and flash.
I am still struggling to understand why the flash keeps flickering when the shutter is pressed, but does not seem to want to to take the picture. Back to the instruction manual...

Busy day at school today. had to cover an absent colleague for part of the day, but still managed to get some marking done later. 
Tomorrow the year 5 lovelies are off on a PGL trip for some adventuring, so I will only see year 6.
I will have the little band of those not going on the trip (6 , I think) for three lessons on Thursday so I need to think up something exciting to do...
