Unravelling

This is a classic 'emergency' blip, as they say .... I'm doing this way too late but to unwind a little ... This was from the TV that was on in the background whilst I seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time online grocery shopping for my parents hundreds of miles away. The bizarreness of it struck me for some reason but it wasn't that as such but the memory (thinking of weewilkie's blip yesterday) it was the memory I had of seeing the Bayeux tapestry in the flesh with my husband years ago and it was the physicality of seeing it that struck me, the goosebumps, the hairs on the back of my neck, and feeling tearful - the history, the link of the object in this time to another time, the people who made it, the people represented, etc. etc. it all came back in a flash, we were both so moved by it, and now he too is gone and part of another tapestry  ... and then back to online shopping ... after a longish day at work, coming home and sowing some seeds and then tripping up and dropping them and seeing a weasel - and both of us jumping out of our skins at the sight of eachother ... and frustrating phone calls south ... and thinking about work ... and ... and ...
it was just one of those days  ... here ends my stream of consciousness ...
