North American Otters

...behind glass at Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetland Trust. We saw them being fed, and they swam right up close to the glass enclosure wall, so we were centimetres away. Shame about the reflections!

This just was part of our nursery trip to Slimbridge. The weather smiled upon us, and it did not snow or hail as happened in Stroud, for a few minutes.

In the evening, we attended the Stroud film festival's screening of Northern Soul, the new-ishBritish film written and directed by Elaine Constantine. Afterwards, there was a live Q&A session with the producer, and after that CleanSteve and I and some of his film friends and the producer went for a drink in town. Now it's midnight and I am wondering where to get a few extra hours to insert into the day.
