take off (not my 500th blip, as I've deleted some)

I have more photos of Canada geese than I care to admit. (They are the most plentiful and willing subject where I live : ) If I've learned nothing else about them, I know that they are much better at taking off into flight than landing on water or the ground. 

Their take offs are quite beautiful and seemingly cooperative, as is their behavior that precedes flying away. On the other hand, landings seem to be hit-or-miss. I've observed several Canada geese landings in which geese wobble as they land and in some cases are completely sideways until they readjust to land on their bottom!
