In Between...

...a cool, cloudy morning and the same in late afternoon, we had a fine sunny day, made even better by my son W coming up for a dentist appointment and some time with us. (He went to university here, and loves the dentist he had then so much that he continues to come to her for care, more than a decade later.)

Using the playful "key line" option on my camera seemed just right today, given the pleasant spring weather, so here you have a glimpse of Railroad Avenue, with the locally famous Mallard Ice Cream shop in the background, which I took while W was at his appointment.

Phil, W, and I then enjoyed an excellent lunch and lively conversation at La Fiamma Pizza, at the other end of Railroad Avenue, followed by a short journey for haircuts for the elders, while W filled the time nearby with a good book and some local beer.

We delivered W to the bus station in good time for his return to Seattle, and look forward to seeing him again in the near future!
