Remembering LKY

This morning we woke to the death of Lee Kuan Yew the founding father of Singapore. It was a strange feeling with a cross between tthe man who created and developed so much of the country in to one of the richest places in the world and the reason I have a job. To the feeling of a 1984 style state where everything is so controlled. Whatever the opinion he did a lot for the country and the respect he has deservedly been given is outstanding. This was a tribute in my local part of town. There was a constant video running and white flowers being given away. A strange day indeed.
