Katoomba Falls

I know I should be participating in the Wide Angle Weds Challenge "seeing the point," but another opportunity to shoot water falls under Hobbs' tutelage couldn't be resisted. Anyway, it appears I have participated indirectly as seen in Hobbs' WAW blip.

These are the beautiful Katoomba Falls that we encountered today as we made our way down the Furber Steps and Scenic Railway Track. It was a great excursion. The only hiccup was losing isbi for a while. We were quite relieved to find she had been far ahead of us and was patiently waiting at the bottom. No search helicopters were necessary.

The fabulous morning spent with Walking Wombat and CCN ending at Sublime Point (so I did actually "see a point") and the afternoon on the steps with Hobbs and isbi were the grande finale to a memorable two days in the Blue Mountains.
