Moon meets Venus

A beautiful sight from an upstairs window of our house!

The crescent moon at late twilightm accompanied by a bright planet (surely Venus),

My photograph shows not only the illuminated crescent of the moon, but also, dimly, the rest of the disk of the satellite.
