Mr and Mrs Heron
Spring, and the herons are busy building their nests at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Today has been one of those perfect days.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing, all is right with the world!
( and our leaks seem to have stopped!)
A lovely day spent with a walk round the lakes and through the woods.
Woodpeckers, nuthatches, tree creepers, and of course the herons nesting.
It was so quiet and peaceful, except for the noisy Canada geese!
Lunch in the sunshine, on the terrace of the cafe, with a wonderful view over the park.
The Henry Moore sculptures fit so well into the landscape.
£8 car park may seem expensive, but the exhibitions are free, and it was money well spent for such a beautiful day out.
