Busy Bee

A busy day with our last photography meeting this morning, when our former tutor returned to see what we had been up to in his absence.  I don't think we disgraced ourselves.

This afternoon JJ and I went to the local nursery to pick up some potting compost and try to decide what plants would best suit the north facing wall in the front garden.  I would prefer to have shrubs with all-year round colour, interspersed with bulbs and summer bedding.  I used to be sure of what I wanted but I now find it difficult to plan a garden and don't know why.

The bees were happily buzzing around all the miniature weeping willows and so my attention was distracted by this particularly heavily laden bee.

I think we are forecast heavy rain tonight and tomorrow and although it can rain all night long because the garden is bone dry, I would rather it was fine tomorrow.
