Bridge Over The River Cam

Cambridge Riverside bridge was opened in 2008, designed by Ramboll architects and has won several awards. A steel cycle and pedestrian bridge that snakes across the river Cam and adjoining flood plain. The long curving approach is an elevated metal deck that stands on small steel piers. It links Chesterton and the Abbey area. I haven't crossed the river on this bridge yet as there is one nearer for me, but I will certainly walk over it the next time I am in this area. I'm sure to get a good view of the river traffic from up there.
