A change of view ...

This is the view upriver from Innellan, showing Dunoon on its fan of land and the northern hills beyond it. I rarely walk here, as the main road tends to have a fair amount of traffic and the scenery is more suburban than further south at Toward, but today a traffic accident in Innellan closed the road to both cars and pedestrians for well over an hour just at the time when we were headed southwards. 

In the event we had a lovely walk high above the shore on North Campbell Road, though it became slightly hazardous when convoys of traffic were led past by a police car in the wrong direction for this one-way, country road.

I believe three people were taken to hospital as a result - we hope it wasn't serious.
