Total Retail

A very different kind if day for me today - my friend Elaine and I have long been planning a trip to Ikea, our nearest one being some distance away in Nottingham, but we have been thwarted by the weather. Today, however, we made a day of it. I drove, Elaine navigated and we only got lost twice - once not far from our destination and once in the store. We chose a scenic route home and stopped for refreshment at a small retail park in the Peak District. A lovely day out!
I mostly bought storage for my workroom, as my supplies for felting seem to be growing. The photo is my current project which is an attempt to represent Scarlet Elfcups on a mossy background.
