mandarin duck

I went down to the riverside again this morning to and was again lucky to watch the peregrines (there is anther grisly shot here)

However I decided to post this mandarin flying down the River Derwent, its not pin sharp but only had a few seconds as the pair passed through

Thank you to all those that took time to comment and leave stars and hearts with yesterday's peregrine. I was delighted when my pheasant hit the Popular first page , I was briefly up with the blip top hierarchy :-)
