A Scene from a Western?

It almost looked like a scene from a Western film - like I used to watch when I was little - it's actually just above our house on a Western Isle - Mull!

Is it me remembering wrongly or did there used to be many more Westerns on the TV when I was little? Maybe it was something to do with only 3 channels and less films?
