Early morning dew

When I woke this morning, for the first time in days, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and there was even a trace of frost on the lawn. The garden is finally showing signs of Spring, with primroses, periwinkle, bergenia, and flowering quince all beginning to make a show.  And of course the daffodils, which were twinkling with droplets as the frost melted.

All of us here are suffering from horrible colds and coughs ( including poor little Violet) so I thought that I had done extremely well to force myself out to take this shot so early in the day!  Posting this evening before we retire for an early night with cough medicine.
