Something to Smile About

So, I woke up today feeling awful.
Sore joints, runny nose, runny eyes, sore throat, mouth ulcers...how did all that happen in less than 24 hours?
Wobbled my way through work then took to my bed.
I was meaning to sit down and get on with my Spanish folio but I can't concentrate.
The boys were playing in the string orchestra tonight in the Perth Concert Hall but there was no way I could have sat through it feeling like this.
Thankfully, wee Prince came in for his vaccinations this morning and cheered me up.
Then Lewis texted to tell me he had achieved a high Merit in his cello exam.
So, not all bad!
