Aconite
Lucky I snapped this wee patch of Aconite growing at the side of the road this morning, because I've been so busy all day I didn't have an opportunity to think of anything else.
I'm preparing part of a presentation for our colleague who is retiring on Friday. My bit is a 'This Is Your Life' with pictures and rhyme. I've been looking out every photo of every night out we have had in the last 15 years, and scanning them into the PC.
Also, have been having secret confabs with her husband, and he has been smuggling me some snaps from the family album. It's been lots of secretive fun, and tomorrow a couple of us are going into town with the collection money to buy her some jewellery.
All very well, but next week we will all come back to work, and she won't. And that's nice for her, but sad for us.
There will be tears.
