Detour

The Forth Rail Bridge at Dusk. I hadn't intended to stop here but, while en route to a meeting, I couldn't resist making a quick detour to capture the bridge in the blue hour. I have many photographs like this and there must be many thousands of other similar images out there, but I never tire of this view.

This image is a panoramic composite of three images, all taken with the 'old faithful' 10mp Nikon D40x, which was my first DSLR a good few years ago. It doesn't get a whole lot of use these days but when used carefully it can still produce the goods.
