New growth

A largely home-based day, catching up with a bit of work, responding to e-mails and doing some gardening. Yesterday we bought three trays of Primula that had been drastically reduced in price because the first few flowers were over, so I planted those and generally tidied up the patio a bit. So much to do after the winter!

Towards the end of the afternoon I noticed that the Clematis montana leaves were unfurling. I love the delicacy of new leaves, and the complex patterns made by the vascular structure.
