Solar Eclipse

I know lots of folk found the eclipse a bit of a let down this morning but I found it fascinating thanks to my Lee ND filter - not for photographing but just watching. One of those moments you just want to experience and not photograph! There will be too many much better photos out there than I can take with my equipment! This is the shaded light coming through the window!
Out for lunch at the pub - Mica our apprentice is leaving today.
Jules comes in the evening & I make him & Gillian Cassava Leaf stew - never made it for anyone not from Sierra Leone before & I know it's an acquired taste but I love it - luckily they did too!
Alasdair - my brother is 50 today - but too ill to celebrate much. Hopefully I'll see him at the weekend!
