Poochie is 88

My sister and brother-in-law , husband and I took our parents out for lunch for our fathers 88th birthday. We took him back to the area in VA where his mother was from. We had lunch in a great little family run restaurant. The food was amazing, they sang happy birthday (he loved that) and we had homemade ice cream.  I think my sisters, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews are blessed to still have them. None of my friends still have both parents. Now is the time to make everyday special even when you have to put something else on hold!
