Hidden in the Forest

Today I went for a walk in Bottle Lake Forest with my cousin. We were hoping to find lots of Fungi but that wasn't the case. It hasn't been cool enough at nights and the we haven't had much rain. Maybe in a couple of weeks time they may be more. All we found were a few Amanita Muscaria or more commonly know as Fly Agaric or Fly Amanita. So it was very disappointing.  

We do find this plant with this interesting patterns on its leaves, my cousin was going to look it up when she got home as she didn't know what it was. It makes for a interesting shot as well.

The day was mild and overcast again with a hint of sun from time to time. We had a wonderful lunch and a chat and felt good after a long walk in the forest.
