Enlisting

I took the chance to enlist with the Royal Signals this morning when the army arrived on the Meadows to recruit for reservists.
I could have joined the parachute regiment had I not been scared of heights or the artillery section had I not been petrified of handling guns, but not withstanding my ignorance of the modus operandi of the Signals regiment, the presence of females on the team seemed an incentive.

I can see that His Lordship is rather jealous of my new status, but he is way over the age limit!
