This WILL be my nest!

The coots have started building their incredibly untidy nest.  I watched one of the pair guarding the foundations while the other searched around in the pond for suitable twigs to add to the higgildy piggidly mess that is a coot's nest.  I'll be back in Queen's Park next Thursday so I'll check out the construction process.
