View from the Palacio Guendulain

I awoke to this lovely view out the back of the hotel. Sadly, that was all we saw of the sun today...

The hotel continues to please. Enormous and generally comfortable bed. Fresh white cotton linens. Bathroom with very capacious shower cubicle. Good breakfast in a very grand dining room where I sat alone for about 15 minutes until being joined by some other guests (there are only 26 rooms in the place, I think). Some grand staircases and what appears to be a display of vintage cars and carriages. I won't run short of photographs to take in this place! Very characterful.
