Staircase to the snow

The start of an awesome day, with a cable car up through the cloud, a ski tour up the Argentiere glacier and on to the Col du Tour Noir over the Glacier des Amethystes. Then down.

Being too worried about falling on the way, I took my photos at the start. The cable car at the top of Grand Montets is perched on a peak, and so we need the stairs down to reach the snow.
