Day one in Germany

What a long day!

Start at 3am! Off to the airport (Luton) before flying off to Germany to see daughter and son-in-law. Collected car at the airport and then a tense drive to their home (ok if used to driving on the right and used to a right hand drive car).

Happy celebrations meeting daughter and hubby at home - she had made her dad a birthday cake (for yesterday) which was welcome with a cup of coffee (and tasty).

Chat and catch up,then out for a drive of the area (me this time!). The pretzels are huge, so much fast food around and everywhere appears nice and clean. Back home for a rest. Brief visit to the Naffi (interesting) before home fir Indian take away!

Bath then bed !

Lovely day ....... but tiring.
