Female Swan

I returned to the spot on the River Avon where I managed to get the photos of the Heron Battle just to see if either of them were there again? Unfortunately not! But there was a young female Swan cruising in the basin behind the weir.
  As she got closer to the edge,I feared that she would get washed over?But no fear! She had a technique which enabled her to grip the weir edge with her feet and feed off the plant growing on the edge.
 This shot I chose was when she launched herself into flight off over the weir.Not quite Niagara but still quite impressive.Faster shutter speed ma have helped a little?
