The tooth
So as you can see it is out! We went for an assessment and the very nice dentist decided it would be best for everyone if the tooth came out there and then. It wasn't nice, poor Will was very brave. He had nitrous oxide pumped into his nose, it didn't make him laugh. The local anaesthetic didn't really seem to touch him (it seems that both my children have inherited a delayed reaction to local anaesthetic) and he really kicked and wiggled when they pulled the brute out. He lost it in recovery, properly sobbing and hyperventilating, I am dreading the next trip to the dentist. Thankfully this was all at a different surgery to our normal one so hopefully he won't relate the two.
Back home he wanted to watch Madagascar and had two ice lollies them some ice cream. He was much better for it and happily completed his homework. He wants to send the tooth to the tooth fairy but not until after 'Show and Tell' on Monday!
