What am I?

A Facebook photo group I follow has set a challenge of taking macro shots of things and seeing if people can guess what they are.  There have been some pretty devious shots entered!  

I think mine is either impossibly hard or extremely easy, depending on whether you have come across one of these things - what do you think?
