Sparkling....

Apparently Amaryllis can be used as a girl's name. It means "to sparkle" This recently unfurled specimen is a splendid example. It graces my mum's kitchen windowsill, and was captured a few minutes before I left for home this morning. I'm sparkling tonight too, not physically as I still have this nasty virus, but emotionally as I can now openly announce that another grandchild is on the way. Stella will have a wee brother or sister in October. Such splendid news!
