Blending In

Strolling around the pond at the nature preserve this afternoon, I nearly missed this little guy he fades into the background so well.

Learned this morning that my college roommate had died. We hadn't talked in a lot of years and I was looking forward to setting that right and playing our guitars at our 45th reunion this summer .... the adventure continues but sometimes it just plain stinks.
