In the Cloud

A work visit to Akaroa today. Definitely an autumnal feel now and heavy fog early in the morning. I could have stopped for lots of shots along the way, spiders webs on the fences, swans gliding over the glassy water of Lake Ellesmere, but somehow one often just doesn't stop when there is a destination and purpose in mind. The fog started to lift as I drove over Hilltop and down into the harbour itself, to reveal a superb bright and sunny day. I rather liked the slightly surreal look of this yacht - almost floating on the clouds.
