It is Friday

 Last night at Burgundy's it was 
Jayne Crow and Round Midnight, but without Jayne Crow!  She now has other things to do - her 4 month boy.
As you see in this sketch we did have the very talented Paul Guppy on his very smart electiric double bass with the cool Dan England on drums.  We also had Mike Reynolds  on keyboards and out front, the versatile  Paul Froggatt on tenor and alto sax.
It was great as usual to have Ted with us.  Jim who tookover from Ted as the lead in organising gigs is moving away from Kendal and I had the pleasure of giving him a print of Dave Turner - his choice from the website.
