Electric sunset

An evening walk across the fields this evening. I've done this shot many times but the light this evening was quite nice - lovely tones and colours.

I grabbed my 50D instead of the usual G10 along with my standard 50mm Lens. Have had the lens over a year bit rarely used it, so, I decided to take just the one to force me to look for the image rather than stand there and zoom to it.

Another whinge....
After last weeks near miss on the way to work, had someone pull out right in front of me again! I thought in a fraction of a second, no he isn't really going to pull out - no surely not, OOHH s**t. Same distance away, same speed and just 300yrds from last weeks heart stopping moment. Stopped just a few inches away again. Isn't my car big enough for people to see??? Stopping 2 tons of landrover from 50mph using your drivers door is not recommended!!! It hurts - alot. Pulling out 30 yards directly in front of cars doing 50 isn't wise - Don't do it, at least not to me, I've had enough already.....
