Viewing bench

A bright, sunny day.

In the morning I caught up with a couple of episodes of a TV series. After lunch we went over to Kingennie Country Park. It was a beautiful afternoon for a walk - though Eleanor walked twice as far as I did.

The bench provides a great spot to sit and contemplate the beauty all around. It was so peaceful, although the clouds were scurrying across the sky. It all made such a contrast to the horror unfolding in the French Alps. It is hard to imagine what must go through the mind of someone who could be driven to such a deed. Sometimes it is good just to get away and drink in some goodness from the natural world. 

Andy Murray is on TV this evening though it clashes with the England football game - let me think, what will I find the more exciting?
