Parque Periurbano, Castala

The morning dawned clear and bright.   As we had anticipated this was going to be a lovely day, we shopped yesterday, leaving the afternoon free after Pilates this morning.

Discarding socks and finding sandals, off we set, to the other side of Berja in the foothills of the Sierra Gador to a Nature Park which has brick built BBQs, swimming pool, football pitch and other facilities for public use.

It was so peaceful, we only saw one other vehicle.   The cafe/bar was closed so no chance of a coffee or cold soft drink.   It was just so great to be out and about without a coat and scarf for a change.   A sign of things to come next week as the forecast is good.
