On the waterfront

Another sunny start and we made it to Portsmouth today, driving over the freshly laid piece of tarmac on the M27, scene of yesterday's fireball blaze and tragic multiple crash.

It was breezy as we walked along the Millennium Trail. Lots of activity on the water. Some intrepid open water swimmers were enjoying (?) a dip. After a drink and bag of crisps at The Still and Keep overlooking the Historic Dockyard and Spinnaker Tower it was time to head back. The hovercraft was just leaving so we hopped onto the shingle and got sprayed as it powered off.

Looking forward to having a meal at the pub tonight with the kids, and hopefully a few friends might drop in too.
