Anne Hathaway's Cottage

This is one of the prettiest of the Shakespeare properties. It's situated in a village called Shottery, which is on the outskirts of Stratford. This is my old stomping ground, and I went to school just around the corner from here.
Anne Hathaway was Shakespeare's wife, and she lived here, in what was a considerably-sized farmhouse, before she married.  Anne was 26 and Will was just 18 when they wed, and their first child was born about 6 months later. 
The gardens at this property are really beautiful, especially in late spring.
