Camp

We spent the afternoon with refugee friends in their camp- biggest one in the country-40,000 people . I was overwhelmed by the vastness of it. I wish I could take a photo which gives a sense of the scale.

The family we visited are opening up a lot more to us now about what went on last year when they fled their homes. A baby we met today had been just a month old and his mother's milk dried up. Thankfully they came across a goat on the mountain which they took and fed their baby with its milk.

What gets to me is how very contented and positive and thankful they are. We have so much to learn from them.
