What is it ?

The explanation;  As I opened the bedroom curtains this morning I couldn't help noticing this bright object half way up the willow tree. It's on a horizontal branch at about 10m off the ground. What is it ? how did it get there? 

Please blippers to the rescue, it's been bothering me all day !
