Snow on the tops

Early start with a trip to the Puffin Pool for me and Mike to the Dentist.
All the daffodils are out in front of the Puffin Pool entrance creating a nice welcome, much earlier than last year.
I walked down to Ferry Point after my exercises . The tide was going out and a whole flock of waders were lined up along the waters edge. Other birds were much further out.
One the way back , after breakfast at the garden Centre, the sun was lighting up the new snow on the mountain tops. A flock of sheep were busy feeding on the neeps and enjoying the warmth of the sun.
Planted a few more plants this afternoon and dead headed some of the primulas. A surprisingly sunny day but the forecast is for gales tomorrow, hope they miss us !
