Packed

Don't think I've ever packed quite so light before!  Ready for 5 days in New York, and prepared for a few shopping trips, too...!

Left home at lunchtime, met my friend Char at Paddington, and then carried on to Heathrow with her - arrived 3 hours before our flight, so went for a coffee and a sit down before boarding our flight at 6pm.  Arrived at JFK at 10pm local time, and got a taxi to our hotel in Midtown Manhattan.  Absolutely exhausted, but strangely awake when we got there so ended up going to sleep around 1am.  Knackered!
