Harry Potter's birhplace

Had coffee in the  Elephant House, a cafe in Edinburgh where J.K Rowling began writing the Harry Potter series. Quiet ,early morning and shared a table with a woman who was scribbling away at loose leaf pages --was I in the presence  of another significant author--perhaps I should have asked for an autograph !
